Visual arts exhibition “Light and Darkness”

1st Painting Studio, School of Visual and Applied Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts AUTh

The group art exhibition presented in the framework of the #SKG Bridges Festival, depicts 14 versions of a shared theme: light and darkness. Each artistic approach incorporates the artist’s desire to have the viewer identify the inner dialogue between light and darkness. Many different media are put to use, with each artwork translating the universal dipole to visual representations. The 14 emerging artists embrace with their work the multiple interpretations of light and darkness under their personal viewpoint, placing special emphasis on the interaction with the viewers. The artworks attempt to create a multidimensional aesthetic experience that corresponds to the modern interdisciplinary character of art.
