Mini International Festival “Europe Speaks Out”: Acting Workshops

National Theatre of Northern Greece

Four European artists (directors and actors) deliver workshops addressing to young professional actors, aiming to overpass geographic and linguistic boundaries in theatre.

Workshop by Cécile Auxire-Marmouget (Directress – France)

How do we manage a non-theatrical text on stage? What is direct speech and how we address others?

Cécile Auxire-Marmouget will work on the text of her monologue, “Res Publica”, that will be presented during the mini International Festival “Europe Speaks Out” on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of May at the Theater of Society for Macedonian Studies. She will use a non-theatrical text trying to achieve one or more performing approaches, emphasizing on the use of direct speech in theatrical narrative.
