Towards a pure and lively performance on stage.

by Evdoxia Androulidaki and Efthimis Theou members of the VASISTAS team.

It is aimed at theater professionals or students, actors, directors, dancers and choreographers.

In recent years the VASISTAS team has developed and applied to its performances a stage code that proposes a new approach to something that could be called a “holistic theater”. A theater in which the boundaries between different arts and different expressive means (music, movement, speech and image) are invisible and are treated as equal. In such a context, performers are asked to use on stage different – and often conflicting – tools and data that have to do with the body, music, coordination with the others, the speech and its efficiency. During the 2-hour workshop, participants will be introduced to the main tools of this method.

The workshop will be held by Evdoxia Androulidaki and Efthimis Theou members of the VASISTAS team.
