Creativity and artistic expression “starred” in the #SKG Bridges Uprising Arts & Culture Festival, the largest festival of culture for young people from European South in Thessaloniki! Music, cinema, theater, dance, photography and performances took place on the city’s streets from 9 to 13 May 2018, at the initiative of the Social Policies Office of the General Secretariat of Prime Minister, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
More than 10,000 visitors attended the 70 open and free events of the festival, created by hundreds of young artists from ten Southern European countries, defying even the unstable weather. The events of the #SKG Bridges Festival were hosted in 22 locations in Thessaloniki, including Thessaloniki’s Port, Old and New Promenade, Rotunda, Yedi Kule, Paradise Baths, the Roman Forum, Kordelio Square, and Moni Lazariston, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, the Royal Theater, the National Theater of Northern Greece, the City Hall of Thessaloniki.
