Open call for participation
in the performance “Walk, Hand, Eyes (a city)” by Myriam Lefkowitz in the framework of the open workshop “We are all vulnerable: Inventing and sharing practices of care and attention” with students from the Research Methodology seminar “The disavowed spectator”, supervised by Christina Sgouromiti, Athens School of Fine Arts and from the master’s seminar “Ways of doing, modes of acting” conducted by Vanessa Theodoropoulou at the School of Fine arts of Angers (Ecole supérieure d’art et design TALM-Angers, France)

Once a day, the group will propose to the public to experience «Walk, Hand, Eyes (a city)», by French based artist Myriam Lefkowitz, an one hour silent walk through the city, during which each spectator will be guided with his eyes closed through a subtle touch by one “guide”.

*Myriam Lefkowitz is a performance artist, based in Paris. Since 2010, her research has focused on questions of attention and perception, through different immersive devices involving one spectator and one performer. Her work has been presented at the Venice Biennal, at Le Nouveau festival in Pompidou Center (Paris), at the Public Art Agency (Sweden), at the Center for Contemporary Art (Vilnius), at the Buenos Aires dance festival, among others.
